BioIgnite at Radloff Middle School: Biomedical Imaging

BioIgnite is partnering with the Radloff STEAM Academy to offer a one-day camp at Meadowcreek High School to students of Radloff Middle School in Gwinnett County. Students will learn how doctors and scientists image the body to better understand what happens beneath the skin. Students will build a working microscope using Legos, learn how a computer stores images, and discover the importance of imaging techniques such as X-ray and MRI. 2018 BioIgnite Camp at Georgia Tech

The BioIgnite Summer Camp teaches about exciting BioSTEM topics such as Biomedical Imaging, NeuroEngineering, Biomechanics, and Regenerative Medicine. An afternoon design studio teaches students all about the engineering design process and takes them through designing their own prosthetic prototype. Parents are invited to an open house on Friday where students show-off their prototypes and favorite activities from the week.
